This assignment included complete branding and identity, packaging, and a catalog for a company we invented. My business, Love Bites, targets women from their teenage years through their early twenties. The name “Love Bites” insinuates more than just bites of chocolate. The first implication relates to the negativity of a bad relationship due to a heartbreak. On the other hand, love bites are another word for hickies. This duplicity is expressed in the design of the catalog and packaging. The image on each package and catalog page looks like a flower but is actually the silhouette of a weed.
