CHALLENGE
Make a non-functional packaging functional.
RESOLUTION
The packaging I chose to make functional was women’s underwear packaging. In order to access the garments, a consumer must struggle with plastic wrapping, cardboard and tape. The solution I found was a cardboard box with underwear nicely folded inside. The consumer simply opens the box and pulls out the underwear. There is also a slit cut across the box so the customer can feel the material without needing to remove the underwear from the box.
