Esta Ilustración (retrato), es haciendo un homenaje a Alejandro Carrasquel, tambien conocido como El Patón Carrasquel, PRIMER VENEZOLANO en JUGAR en las GRANDES LIGAS, para el equipo de Senadores de Washington en 1939, desempeñándose como lanzador. Carrasquel Ha sido considerado por muchos, como una de las glorias del deporte venezolano. En 1971 fue exaltado al Salón de la Fama del Deporte Venezolano.

This illustration (picture) is doing a tribute to Alexander Carrasquel, also known as The Paton Carrasquel, first Venezuelan to play in the big leaguesfor the Washington Senators team in 1939, serving as a pitcher. Carrasquelhas been considered by many to be one of the glories of sport in Venezuela.In 1971 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame Sports Venezuela.
