To celebrate the launch of the limited edition Red and Blue PS3 500Gb consoles, PlayStation teamed up with Sky Sports to work out which colour is most popular, Red or Blue. Gotgotneed asked me to create the graphics style for the campaign, including opener, endboard and transitions. The thought process was to create something that appears slick and glossy in both appearance and animation, yet clean and uncluttered, allowing the strength of the two colours to sing out.
The campaign is hosted by Fenners & Tubes from Soccer AM. They quizzed a host of famous footballing faces such as Darren Bent, Ray Wilkins, Phil Neville and Jeff Stelling to determine whether their allegiance lies with Red or Blue.
It was a quick turnaround but fun to work on - big thanks to Adam and Will at Gotgotneed for the opportunity.
