A malha de mobiliário urbano presente nas cidades é normalmente muito díspar, ao incluir equipamentos provenientes de variadas linhas de mobiliário, resultando numa amálgama estética que não se enquadra no meio envolvente. O principal objectivo deste projecto passou pelo desenvolvimento de uma família coerente de equipamento urbano com uma linguagem formal que fosse comum a todas as peças.
A base do conceito incidiu sobre o desenho de um perfil que fosse estruturante e permitisse estabelecer um sistema modular flexível endereçado a uma produção simples e conjugação versátil dos diferentes objectos. Um segundo elemento extrudido permite a junção dos componentes principais de cada produto. O perfil estrutural a que chegámos permite uma montagem modular que garante a adequação das peças a situações e aplicações imprevistas. Os objectos que compõem esta família moldam-se à urbe, não reclamando protagonismo, garantindo o funcionamento do espaço físico e proporcionando um ritmo dinâmico ao espaço visual.

The city's urban furniture mesh is usually very diverse, including equipment from a variety of furniture lines and brands, resulting in an aesthetic amalgam that does not fit into its surroundings. The main purpose of this project was the development of an urban equipment coheren family with a formal language that was common to all parts.
The basis of the concept focused on the design of a metal profile that was structuring and allowed establishing a flexible modular system addressed to a simple production and versatile combination of different products. A second extruded element allows the junction of the main components of each product. The structural profile we have reached allows a modular design that ensures the adequacy of the parts to unforeseen situations and applications. The pieces that make up this family shape the metropolis, not demanding role, ensuring the functioning of the physical space and providing a visual rhythm to that space.
