Since I am a big wildlife fan, I am also a big fan of nature reserves, national parcs and game parcs.
But in this series I would like to raise awareness for certain "false friends" called: GAME FARMS...
Something I am absolutely NOT a fan of...
In this series I tried to capture yet another endangered species of Africa: the cheetah. One of the reasons they are endangered are bad genes... they are unfortunately  not build well enough to survive in Africa's unforgiving wild and are very susceptible for disease.

The reason I chose for the cheetah as my mascot is because when farmers discover cheetahs on their land, they either shoot or capture them. The last possibly even worse than the first. They put them in so called "game farms" to lure in tourists for them to see how they get fed.

These game farms are comparable to either a big cage or a minimalistic version of a game parc without any game except for the cheetahs. Imagine taking in a huge tiger, lion, leopard or cheetah into your home and gving him a bowl of cat food each day. With just enough room for the "cat" to run for 10 seconds without smashing into a wall / fence...
It's hard breaking to see theses wild animals "broken" in a cage, where they purr, ( yes they purr, I did not know this before, but I experienced it first hand )... They purr for a piece of meat. A wild animal turned into a purring kitten is something my heart just couldn't take.
