Outreach Uganda

Outreach Uganda is a non-profit organization located in Highlands Ranch, CO. It serves poor people in Uganda — especially orphans and women who have been adversely affected by AIDS and other diseases and/or the war in northern Uganda. Their mission is to empower women and children in Uganda through education, women’s empowerment, and income generating activities.
The logo is a wordmark combining an “O” and “U” to create a circular shape. The shape is not a true circle though, to give the idea of two people reaching out to help each other. The circle also encompasses the shape of the paper beads that Ugandan woman make for Outreach Uganda to sell to consumers in the U.S.
