I'm a graphic design major at Florida State University & for my color theory class we had to do a a final project where we were to create a work of art that displayed color and focused on what we hope to pursue when we graduate. In light of my event and wedding planning/design aspirations I decided to create a wedding invitation suite. The construction of the design is modeled after the packaging of a pair of Ray Ban glasses which consist of a grey box, eye glass cleaning cloth and an instruction/care booklet. I was to design and print my work so I wanted to create an invitation suite that would be fun and different. The tag-line for the theme is "Our Love Is Blind". The names of the engaged couple "Maxwell" & "Marilyn" create the nickname "Max Lyn" and are a product of my imagination. 

For the save the date I recreated the black care booklet incorporating "Max Lyn" with the "Our Love Is Blind" logo on the outside and when the booklet is opened a save the date story is printed inside. The story tells how the couple met and explains why their love is "blind" to the differences they have overcome (race, location, age). 

The invitation which mocks an eye chart was printed on the inside of a grey eyeglass cleaning cloth with the "Max Lyn" logo on the front.

The RSVP cards are representations of an eye glass prescription with a key that instructs guests on how to fill out card.
