Client: Our Lady of Guadalupe
Our Lady of Guadalupe is a small private elementary school in West Seattle. A recent need to retro-fit their structures to safely withstand possible earthquakes was an unexpected expense, and the school needed a low-cost mailer that grabs the recipient’s attention. Working with a local Seattle printer to cut down on costs, A two-color self-mailer with a letterpress fold was created. The use of an interesting reveal when the piece is opened, was a low cost way to add interest to the piece and ties the large steel cross-braces used to strengthen the structure of the school into the concept of the design. The mailer was sent out to all the parents and alumni of the school and helped defray the costs of the construction as well as fund new technology needed to educate their students.
