Poster designer for the AIGA event Always Summer Poster Show. The idea behind the show is you design a poster based on your favorite song of the summer and at the show you can see all of the posters designed while they play the songs, genius right? Well my favorite song of the summer just happened to be Kitty Pryde and Riff Raff’s Orion’s Belt. Basically I just really dig the track and the video and I’ve been rocking it all summer so it was my first choice as poster design. In the video there is a reoccurring scene of Kitty and Riff just rapping into the camera and I liked the simplicity of the shot so I turned it into an illustration.
