ABOUT THE PROJECT:
The Original Vodka and Gin brand is a major label within the Åbro Breweries portfolio of brands. The task was primarily to redesign the old outdated packaging. The client asked for a clear and simple product, to be added to their range of premium brands. Key words included; Nordic, Raw material, Pure, Simple, Honest and Empathic.
The final design is based on the simplicity and recognition of a circle, which divide the plane into two regions, an interior and an exterior. The interior allotted to a brand colour; red for Gin, black for Vodka. The exterior allotted to the product, viewed through the clear glass bottle. This basic idea is also utilized in the brand identity as well as in the ad campaign.
