The Plastic Card Shop.com had developed a strong reputation for quality and service in the niche loyalty card sector. However, competitors had entered the market and driven down service and quality levels, tarring TPCS.com with the same brush. Mr B & Friends was appointed to develop a new brand vision for the company, including a name change.
We developed a powerful positioning idea called ‘the 100 percenters’; perfectly summing up the service, quality, creative approach and attitude of the company. Oomph! was soon born as the new company name, followed by a new brand identity, brand characterisation through a unique Mark Gmehling illustration and a whole new visual and verbal identity for the brand.
