As the former Onega Tractor Plant in downtown Petrozavodsk was being prepared for transformation into an upscale residential project, the developers invited art curator Julia Tsurkanu to do an exhibition dealing in free form with the place's rich history. In her turn, Julia invited two Moscow photographers, Natalia Uliyanova and myself to work on two independent projects. While Natalia explored the life of former plant employees, I roamed deserted workshops and assembly lines in search of texture and color.
