Each yearalmost 20 billion pair of shoes are produced, an issue is the recycling processof shoes most shoes are made from multiple materials which needs to be sortedout when the shoes are disposed, these shoes are designed to be more sustainable,with use of one single material, PE (polyethylene) and each part of the shoe ismade from varieties of PE, this means that when the shoes are disposed at theend of use they do not need to be disassembled and can be recycled and madeinto new products right away.
