For this briefing, we had to advertise our hometown as a tourist destination based on a language aspect local to the area. My local area happens to be Cornwall and I noticed that everywhere begins with the prefixes: 'pen', 'pol' and 'tre'. The final outcome was three large format posters that visually communicated this point. The concept was to represent a seemingly endless list of place names beginning with each prefix but to throw the reader off with an unexpected suffix of something that you can also find in Cornwall at the end. Each poster is equipped with a small description of the location being advertised in the corner, all of which is written in local dialect. As for the colour scheme, it supports the Cornish flag of course, Kernow bys vyken.
