One Hour on the Mountain

  • One Hour on the Mountain

A Series of Landscape Photographs taken between 6:59am - 7:59am
  • Q: What are the first steps in defining a new visual brand style for a financial group based Northern California?

A: Take a very early morning drive up to the peaks and valleys of the Mount Tamalpais National Park and photograph a series of reportage landscapes as the sun rises over the clouds obscuring the Bay Area.

As part of a two day preliminary shoot designed to help define a new visual brand style for a new financial client in San Francisco, James Bareham decided to head to the hills across the Golden Gate bridge to shoot some landscapes. Though only one or two of the final shots will be selected we realized that this set of images were shot between 6:59am and 7:59am exactly––which makes for a perfect time lapse to illustrate dawn over the City by the Bay.
