Though Futura may be my first typeface love, I’m quite fond of several new typefaces coming from today’s foundries. I initiated the One Hit Wonder project as a way to explore the new stems, spines, and serifs I’ve welcomed to my family of type.

Poster design was a natural choice for highlighting these bold and novel typefaces. What better way to play with these new additions than to introduce them to the lyrical oddities of one hit wonders from the past. The result is a blended relationship of color, typography, and pattern. Read Less
