Needs: Over the years, Omnicom Group had developed numerous employee enrichment programs. Each program had acquired its own identity and audience, but employees often failed to utilize more than one of the programs. As each program had its own identity and budget, program promotion was sporadic and dependent upon the design skills of each program's manager. The company needed a way to connect the programs and make the advertising process easier.
Solution: I created a new identity system to radically unify the company's programs. I developed extremely simple logo and style guidelines using commonly available typefaces to ensure that all program managers would find it easy to produce new collateral and created a single set of Word, PowerPoint, Web site, and e-mail newsletter templates.
