Pittsburgh Brewing Company held a contest to design their novelty brand of beer called Olde Frothingslosh.
This beer is some what of a joke and has a lot of history in the Pittsburgh area.
My entry to the design contest was a clean, flowing Logo, Logotype, and finally a can wrap graphic.
The contest had ended and this design received third runner up.
The Logo is a simple O.F. where the O is a monicle which references Sir Reginald Frothingslosh IV who was a ficiticious radio show carachter who supposedly brewed Olde Frothingslosh
The can design was ment to be a modern take on the old can design with the subtle jokes the brand is used to having. With the main focus being the zipper and how it is used to display that the beer is so light the foam is actually on the bottom! as well as smaller details such as the text "Bottoms Up" printed upside down on the top rim of the can only being able to be read when someone is taking a large drink.
