After researching the Okanagan Valley I decided it would make a beautiful location for a hotel. I captured its history in my hotels brand using references throughout the design. Today in the Okanagan Valley agriculture has been focused primarily on fruit orchards, with a recent shift in focus to vineyards and wine. This was reflected in the logo by the fruit and the purple colours. I chose a lattice which again references the vineyard. It will give the potential customers a feel for the hotel, and its region before looking further into their vacation. This hotel would be targeted primarily to couples and seniors.
