Officina: Typography Study

  • Officina
    A study of Erik Spiekermann's typeface Officina.
    Part of a series of typeface studies from my junior level typography class at Ohio University.
  • This fold-out poster joins other typeface studies in a packaging system that fits in with any design book collection. The covers and spreads for every booklet are designed in black and white, while the abstract posters use the same colorful palette. The packaging box is silk-screen printed and assembled by hand. 

    The project was a winner in the student category at the Columbus Society of Creative Arts' 2011 Creative Best competition.

A fold-out poster highlighting Erik Spiekermann's typeface Officina. This booklet is part of a larger typeface study by the 2011 junior typography class at Ohio University. Each individual study fits into one hand-made package to fit in any designer's bookshelf.
