This was a pro bono work produced for Obra do Berço through Dm9 Rio. Obra do Berço is an institution that helps mothers in need to take care of their newborn babies, and believe me, here in Brasil we have them a plenty, very sad to say. Along with my former partner and photographer Diego Mello, we photographed the base paper textures, black cardboard paper and torn bits and pieces so I could compose the illustration with this material. The final objective was to give the piece a "crafty" look, as if it was all hand built and then photographed. Along with the entire piece, I placed a cropped zoom part so you can take a look at the subtleties of light and shadow work tha was all done at post production.
