Oakley
- Oakley
All typographic approach with a focus on copywriting - These ads were inspired by the seer feeling of what accomplishment and striving for what you want creates. Oakley as a company is close to Nike in their approach in advertising, they try to inspire people to get out there and be active. I felt like their strategy way right on target, so for this campaign I wanted to keep moving in that same direction. In these ad’s I used an all type approach in black and grey, and the only color is found in the products themselves. The colors are derived from actual oakley glasses. While reading these, you can get the abbreviat ed version by just reading the black type amongst the grey. All of the copywriting was written specifically for these ad’s, to be inspiring and to create the feeling you get when you are completely passionate about something.

- IPad App: This app was designed to help you find the perfect pair of sunglasses. It would start out sayings “What’s your passion?”. That would fade away and a list of sports would pop up with the same style as the ad’s. Once selected, the sports would change colors. Then that would fade out, and the second question would pop up saying “What drives you?”. That would fade away and a list of reasons to be motivated would come up. You would select what drives you/ what motivated you. Once that fades away the final screen will come up. On this screen will be the pair of sunglasses that Oakley thinks would best suit your style and who you are as an athlete. I wanted it to continue with the same type feel of the whole campaign.

- Packaging Design: The packaging design for the Sunglasses are directly connected with the IPAD app. This would be the box they come in once you order them and on the packaging would be the sports that you choose while going through the app.
