  • I was asked to conceptualise a design treatment for an abstract data world that effects both people and their surroundings in this launch commercial for Optus Communications data cloud service.  Using the technology of Kinect cameras to capture performances and Lidar scans of the environments, we were able to create a distinctive look that could be used throughout the campaign.

    This is the initial proof of concept test I designed to sell my idea to the director and agency.

    I combination of Kinect performance and Lidar scan of the fuelvfx buildings interior.  Working with CG Supervisor Johannes Saam in Houdini gave me control over the dimension, pattern and colour of the point meshes. Working with a number of passes and id mattes we came up with a distinct look to pitch to client.
