ON—TYPE: TEXTE ZUR TYPOGRAFIE
Die Ausstellung »ON–TYPE: Texte zur Typografie« präsentiert 111 Jahre Typografiediskurs. In einem als Leselounge konzipierten Ausstellungsraum lädt sie mit zahlreichen Angeboten zum Betrachten, Hören und Blättern zur Interaktion ein. Eine zentrale Skultpur inszeniert mit anamorpher Typografie den Ausstellungstitel. Auf hellen, minimalistisch gestalteten Wandpaneelen werden prägnante Zitate, Viten und Schriftbeispiele auf 222 Abreißzetteln angeboten. Mit ihnen kann sich jeder Besucher seinen eigenen Katalog zusammenstellen.
The exhibition »ON–TYPE: Texts about typography« presents an overview of 111 years of typography discourse in a surprising way: a room, designed as a reading lounge and offering a number of opportunities for contemplation and listening, and inviting visitors’ interaction. A large central sculpture, using anamorphic typography, showcases the exhibition title. Bright wall panels in minimalist design are offering quotations and type examples on 222 stubs which can be torn off, enabling visitors to compile their own catalogue.
