ONS is one of the largest oil conferences in the world, held every other year in Stavanger, Norway. Following on from the award-winning experience created by SDG for the Norwegian oil and gas company Statoil at ONS 2010 , the task this year was to create a truly unique and comprehensive brand experience of Statoil using the latest interactive solutions.
The centerpiece for the experience and storytelling was six high-end Microsoft touch tables. Through intuitive and simple navigation visitors could easily dive into the main issues that Statoil wanted to present at the show.
The tables were a natural contact point between Statoil staff at the stand and visitors. They were supported by seven different sequences presenting the main issues on a 3x13 metre-large video screen. Spider matrix, light and sound were specially designed to support and reinforce the concept within the stand.
