I wish that I could say that I reacted with great professional aplomb when my old EA Sports client - who had since moved to Bioware - called a few weeks before the (cripplingly) exciting launch of their new Star Wars game to ask if SMITH could design & build a wee acquisition experience aimed at folks who were not MMORPG enthusiasts but who might feel kinda tingly at the thought of being the hero of their own, personal Star Wars saga.
But I can't.
So in a little more than a month and ONLY using existing assets & copy - together with more than a few rounds with LucasArts legal - my (bloody fabulous) team slammed out a parallax experience of swishy Star Wars awesome that was (also) totally responsive. We worked hand-in-glove with the outstanding Bioware marketing team as well - no way this ever would have seen the light of day without them.
Alas, the site itself is no longer live. What you see below was an early snapshot of the screen "fully loaded" as it were. Trust me when I say that it was yummy. *le sigh*
