- Oakley needed a simplified interface with bold messaging.
This version of oakley.com comes with a light and grain-textured aesthetic. This is unlike any Oakley design in the past- most of which focused in on the dark gun-metal look that Oakley has now come to own. I art directed and designed the interface to be easily scanable on white, while putting a punch into the product features.
On this primarily gray-scaled design, the 'oomph' comes from the splashes of color that emphasize the products and messaging 'I'm the Authority' (which I was also responsible for)
The feature photography and Lance Armstrong's painting were also done by me.
