In Japanese folklore, a nure-onna (濡女?, lit. „wet woman”) is a yōkai which resembles
an amphibious creature with the head of a woman and the body of a snake.
A nure-onna’s intention are unknown. In some stories, she is a monstrous being who is powerful
enough to crush trees with her tail and feeds on humans.
I didn’t know I was drawing her. I just did and than I’ve googled „snake woman” – and that’s what I found.
I’m not sure if she’s good or evil but she did made me happy through the whole process of drawing :)
I used Photoshop and various brushes I’ve found at deviant art.com
