Numerical Technologies is a well-known Japanese risk management firm and was looking to create marketing materials for a financial event. They had a very specific target audience in an already established industry. The challenge here was to create a mathematical, elegant, serious, classic, neat and structured design that will represent the NumTech brand in the right light.
We decided to hang on to the sudoku idea and continue it further throughout the whole cover design. The grid gives the design a structured and clean look without being too noisy. The Sudoku field behind the main image creates a depth and communicates the idea to the target audience in an easily understandable fashion.
