Brands get the exciting chance to interact face-to-face with their audience when they hold or participate in events. Because the last thing you want to be is forgettable, every touch point that a participant has with your brand at the event needs to be treated with consistency. Tailoring the materials for the event to pieces that are reflective of your brand personality and meet your overall objective for audience interaction is key.
This particular event was put on by the independent non-profit Public Notice, through their issue campaign Bankrupting America. Their goal is to eduacate on government fiscal policy in terms the layman can understand. This event was done in the DC metro area, in collaboration with the Cupcake Joy food truck, to raise awareness about the fact that the United States had hit the $16 trillion debt mark. Design pieces included event branding, signage, cupcake toppers, napkins, invitations, and an educational (and tasty looking) infographic.
