Northanger Abbey-A fun redesign of a classic novel-
In this project I designed the cover and entire layout for the popular novel Northanger Abbey. I wanted to communicate the main theme of the novel through visual elements. The picket fence represents a safe home which always appears immaculate to those who pass by. The flower represents the youth, beauty and growth of the main character and the thorns represent her curious need to escape her childhood and enter adulthood and explore beyond the surroundings of her safe home.
