The Barnes & Noble NOOK Tablet is a game-changing new
device. With 16GB of memory (expandable), a 1Ghz dual-core processor,
1GB of RAM and the lowest reflection glare of any tablet on the market,
the device is not only twice as powerful as any other e-Reader on the
market, but on par with any tablet.
Naturally, as B&N significantly upgraded the functionality of the
device, it called for an upgrade of the tablet’s look and feel as well.
Vim & Vigor was selected as the team responsible for the NOOK
Tablet’s CMF (Color, Material and Finish).
The Barnes & Noble team wanted to give the device a premium look
with a universal appeal. Vim & Vigor was up to the task, designing
the tablet with a sleeker visual appeal than that of its little brother,
the NOOK Color, but still clearly part of the same product family.
