I created a timeline to clearly show the elapsed time form the beginning to the possible ending date for each element, and the common uses of them in our daily. I assigned an individual color and do some research about the discovery / industrialization date, also I created the complete icons system.
The result: A clear and dramatic timeline, easy to read and understand for most of the people. My proposal was shortlisted between the 10 highlights.
