Noir
Although I believe that black and white in contemporary photography doesn't do much in representing the world we see it may be used as an aesthetic statement or as a referencial to a state of mind. In the case of this series "Noir", it does represent a state of mind, an underlying feeling in which I want to express. In this case it may even take the same amount of importance as the subjects themselves. This series is about a sense of numb and helplessness, a feeling of void and entrapment.
