- This corporate identity project is to make up a company and design a strong, yet appropriate brand image for it. Ninic Corporation of America is a leading manufacturer of audio, video, communications, and information technology products for the consumer and professional markets. The name Ninic, is a play on the Japanese pronunciation of the word popular (ninik) and the English word electronic, which combine together to mean popular electronic products. The three in-house colors, black, red and yellow, are used to defined product extension.
- stationery concept:
strong, eye-catching colored logo on white background pops out the company name
- packaging concept:
product image printed on a light background to clearly identify what is inside the box; extension color wraps around the package to indicate the product extension
- promotional posters concept:
company’s slogan in big type catches people’s attention and can be easily embed into people’s mind; product picture on the lower right corner shows product extension
- POP display concept:
to display product in a poster-like display shelf
- The above concepts are also put into a book form as a corporate manual.
