  • Mollie and Andrew (an unconventional pair), decided to launch a non-profit organization for kids. Their wedding date was September 10th 2011, so we came up with the idea of naming the organization Nine10Eleven. The event served as both a celebration of their marriage and the launch of Nine10Eleven - with wedding invitations that doubled as the brand identity for the charity. It was important to express Mollie and Andrew's personalities - specifically their love for NYC and classic American rock. We designed the invitation on the back of a 7" record sleeve, printing event details between a track list of Mollie and Andrew's favorite songs. The sleeve contained a vintage vinyl record, a poster that doubled as a map of NYC highlighting their favorite spots, as well as a cheeky RSVP card. For the event itself we created brown paper bags for cocktail hour and late night bagels. All the graphics combined elegant, clean typography with fun, handmade illustrations - which made the experience of unveiling the event through print collateral exciting and unexpected.
