My final project for Color and Process (FIBR 190). For the final project, we had to draw inspiration from a chosen quote and design the textile for a specific area in textile design (fashion, upholstery, interior, etc.). I designed my textile patterns based off the quote, "The cat is the silent suveyor of the house", for a skirt pattern. To create the design, I dyed a white satin cotton with fiber reactive dye. I then used direct application to paint my pattern designs onto the fabric.
