- Nine Inch Nails: Ghosts I-IV (2008)
Art direction and photography for the album and related materials
- For Ghosts I-IV we combined images that evoked the atmosphere of the music with images culled from the recording of the music, creating a visual texture that I think perfectly matched the music. We commissioned photographer Phillip Graybill to travel across the country with an antique camera to capture images for the album, one of which we used for the album cover. The rest, pictured below, were images I captured with the band. Some became elements of the album art, others were promotional photos used in conjunction with the album, and some were never used at all. Tamar Levine was instrumental in capturing the studio portraits.
