Nile. Touch up your personality.

Touch up your personality. Challenge: The challenge for this project was to re-brand an existing company. I recreated their whole personal identity, name, logo, colors, tag line, product design and everything in between.
Solution: I chose to re-brand Essie, a company dedicated to finger nail polish. After researching their product, I discovered that nail polish was first created and worn in Egypt by the Pharaoh's wives. Because the Nile River is the main giver of life to everything in Egypt, it was an important factor in the creating process, giving the Essie rebrand it's new name, meaning and signature design.
Front side of the Nile business card.
I kept it very clean and simple so that the Nile signature design would be the main focus.
Back side of the Nile business card.
The front side of the envelope for the Nile package displays their signature design in the left corner. Instead of placing their name, I want customers to be able to recognize the company by its design.
The back of the envelope is where the name and address will be displayed, so that the front focuses on the design.
I created a package set for the Nile finger nail polish, each bottle would be sold separately but would also come in packages of colors that have the same theme. This package includes every color fit for an Egyptian Princess, the blue of the nile, the orange of the pyramids, the pinks to represent the colors worn by the Pharaoh's wife and the purples to represent royalty.

The front view of the nail polish bottles, once again the main focus is the signature design.
Th back view gives the name of the color, a description and instructions for usage.
