I'm involved in a volunteer initiative called 1000 Drawings Berlin. It is an enthusiastic community volunteer initiative where everyone is welcome to participate. I'm participating with this Night Style.
1000 Drawings is an empowerment project that culminates in a one-night-only art sale to raise funds for a deserving cause. Inspired by the exhibitions in Johannesburg, we started 1000Drawings Berlin and will be hosting our very first 'Night of a 1000 Drawings' on the 24th of May 2014 at the Willner Brauerei, Berliner Str.80-82, 13189 Berlin.
On the night buyers will go home with original artwork donated by anyone. Be it doodles, scribbles, graffiti, sketches, watercolour and oil paintings, we're collecting A5 artworks to go on sale at the exhibition for 10€ a piece. All proceeds will go to charities in Germany and South Africa.
We are specifically looking for more drawings, drawings and more drawings!
