New Zealand & Australia Work

Below are models, sketches, etc that I have completed since coming to New Zealand & Australia to look for employment. Models can be found in the Google Warehouse and will become "live" on Google Earth once approved. In the past this has taken about two weeks from the time of submission.
Below is a model of the former Ponsonby Post Office, an iconic building that sits at the confluence of St. Marys Road, Jervois Road, Ponsonby Road, and College Hill. This is also the beginning of the Three Lamps commercial district. This model is complete, but too complex to be included on the Google Earth buildings layer, though it can be found in the 3D Warehouse. I will have to simplify the geometry and resubmit it at a later date.
Below is a screenshot of the model as I was working on it.
Below is a model ("Former Ponsonby Fire tation") of the historic former fire house at 13 St. Marys Road, also in the Ponsonby neighborhood of Auckland. This model has been added to the buildings layer of Google Earth. Link here.
Below is a sketch that I did of an interesting street condition that I have seen many times while in Auckland, where mature, protected trees jut out into the cartpath, narrowing auto traffic to one lane. This one in particular is found on Norfolk Street, just west of Ponsonby Road.
Below is a model ("Golden Dawn Building") of the building along Ponsonby Road where Golden Dawn is located. This model is visible in the buildings layer of Google Earth.
Below is a model ("New Zealand Signal Box") of an old signal box along the main trunk rail line, located at the Ohakune rail station on the North island of New Zealand.
Below is a model ("Knopwood's Retreat Building") of one of the old sandstone warehouses along the Hobart wharf, at the corner of Salamanca Row and Montpellier Terrace. There has been a bar at this location for nearly 200 years. When my great-grandfather lived in Hobart between 1912 and 1914, he lived in a house just up the hill. I'm sure that he must have had a pint here on an occasion or two. This model can be found on the building layer of Google Earth.
