by Laura Walter - The assignment was to create a motif inspired by nature using the elements of art like line, shape, color and value, then repeat the arrangement, for a pattern.The process:1) Take photos of nature inspired pattern (save images)
2) Dissect the shape and elements that make up these patterns (seeing process)
3) Start sketching based off of these (scan sketches)
4) Create Motif
5) Design Pattern
6) Design Color - using 2 complimentary colors , using 5 analogous colors, using 3 shades
