Nature has been mankind’s primary source of inspiration throughout history. From the earliest cave paintings to contemporary design our dialogue with nature is endless. We are continually studying and imitating nature to improve design outcomes and our understanding of the world.

This project investigates nature’s influence in design. It explores principles and techniques for designing inspired by nature, and demonstrates how these can be integrated into the design process. Through a conceptual and visual exploration of nature’s influence in design, this project encourages designers to consider nature in the design process.
