MIAD: Visual Resources

Each school sends out their own posters to both educational institutions and individuals interested in attending National Portfolio Day. The front side of the mailer is required to fold down into a 10 x 7 self mailer and have information about National Portfolio Day at MIAD. It also needed to have written directions and a map. It is targeted toward individual people looking to attend the event and it must use the "paper airplane" theme of the 2011 MIAD Course Catalogue.
The back side of the mailer is a poster geared toward high school students and would be hung one-sided in the hallways of high schools nation-wide. It must promote MIAD as well as put focus on the NPD event. Since one of MIAD's best features is that students get their own studios, I chose to photograph a real student's studio at MIAD with hand-made National Portfolio Day and paper airplane elements.
