Nadine Bariteau - Lures & Other Illusions

Franco-artist originally from Montreal, is currently based in Toronto. Nadine is a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus and long-standing commitment to print media and her work is primarily rooted in printmaking, sculpture, installation and video. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montréal and completed her Masters of Fine Arts at Toronto's York University. She has participated in solo and group shows across Canada, Argentina, the USA, notably at the International Print Center in New York City, as well as the Manly Art Gallery & Museum in Australia in addition to the Novosibirsh State Art Museum in Russia. Nadine as recently participated in several Artist Residencies, at The Frans Masereel Center in Belgium, Centro Rural de Arte in Argentina and also at NSCAD University in Halifax. Bariteau’s work has been included in private and public collections such as Foreign Affairs Canada, Ernst and Young, and the National Library of Québec. Nadine currently teaches printmaking at York University and OCAD University.
