The NYC Spaghetti started as a university project back in 2010.
We had to repackage a difficult item out of choices such as eggs, a rose and custard powder. My choice was spaghetti where rather than creating surface graphics for a box, the actual spaghetti became the hero.

On the underside is a model of the Chrysler building (created by Ben Thorpe) that when pushed into the spaghetti creates a skyscraper impression on top.

Fortunately this project has been well received winning 2nd place in the Dieline, commendation at D&AD Student Awards 2010 and been in several books too.
