- NY Fashion Week Section - Style Network
Website - For their NY Fashion Week Coverage, the Style Network wanted a special section added to their current website. To reinforce to their audience that this was new coverage, unique to Style's everyday programming, the Network requested a bold look that would incorporate aspects of their branding but would be specific to Fashion Week. There was one major design constraint: to make sure the design of the Fashion Week sections would work within the horizontal 1038 pixel panel design of mystyle.com. We devised 4 layouts that accommodated portrait and landscape photos, video and ads. Users with browsers wider than 1038 pixels see one panel plus a portion of the subsequent panel so the 4 panels needed to line up seamlessly.Along with the brand new designs for the Latest News listing and detail pages, Style needed simple landing pages for their Style Awards, Style Candy and What's on Style sections. In order for that Fashion Week content to rendez-vous easily with other Style Network content, we dressed up the mystyle.com default template with the Fashion Week look.
