  • I was invited by the Assembly House in Norwich to create my own exhibition based around anything I liked.

Along with four other friends who I studied with at Norwich University College of the Arts, we themed the exhibition around the concept of the Ark.

The reasoning behind this was that despite our stylistic differences at art school, we all loved depicting animals in our imagery. We also all enjoyed incorporating vibrant colours and pattern into our work. The story of the Ark immediately sprang to mind. We just wanted a fun theme which would incorporate well with our work.

As shown here, I am still predominantly working in acrylic and pencil.

I particularly enjoyed integrating small references to rainfall in my work. It has inspired me to create future projects involving water/raindrops/transparency.

Here is the address of the exhibition if you have time to come view it.
