No Bull From Factory Farming is my MFA thesis project at Academy of Art University. It represents an effort to reduce the destructive impact of the beef industry on the global environment. I created an entire system for an invented organization that raises awareness to this problem.
We are all aware that our cars and coal–generated electric power adversely affect the environment. But not many people know that our diets, especially beef consumptions, cause more greenhouse gases than all other forms of global transportation or industrial practices. World beef production is increasing yearly, and is one of the leading causes of deforestation, water pollution and global warming. Since the United States is one of the largest producers and consumers of beef, it is crucial that americans adjust their dietary choices to be in accord with sustainable systems of energy production and environmental conservation.
